No self-respecting SoCal foodie should miss the Hot & Spicy Firefighter Salsa Competition next week. (That’s salsa the condiment, not the dance. Though, who knows? There’s a no-host bar, too. Things could get crazy.) Hosted by L.A.’s historic El Coyote Cafe, this competition seeks to find the best firefighter salsa. Proceeds benefit the Widows, Orphans & Disabled Firemen’s Fund.
